Description
Here we havea
true-vintage
framed print of Howard Fogg's original 1958 painting, "Christmas Mail, 1907, Stoops Ferry, PA." (As stated on print, lower right.) It depicts the Pennsylvania and Lake Erie Railroad steam engine #303 leaving the Christmas-decorated station with lots of friendly men waving to the engineer, except for the man with the large Christmas package waiting for his train. Not sure what his problem is but the scene is cheerful despite him.
Please forgive all of the reflections in the photos
, which were taken on a very sunny day, perfect for picnicking, not so great for taking photos of objects under glass.
Maker/Marks
: unknown/signed (not by hand) Fogg
Approximate
measurements
: the frame measures 23.5" x 19.5", and sight opening measures 19.5" x 15.5"
We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report. Corndogcache is a 100% non-smoking environment, and we'll let you know if any of our vintage items smell like it (
or anything else
) from activities they may have been involved in before they came to us.
We're happy to
combine shipping at actual cost on all pieces
purchased and paid for
on one single invoice/order.
In order to take advantage of this shipping cost savings, you must, must, must combine all of your pieces into one order and pay for all of them at once.
The easiest way to do this is to place items in your cart, and then to purchase them as a group from your cart.
If you're unable to get the Ebay checkout to combine your items into one order, do not pay. Back out of that mess and shoot us a message instead, asking for a combined invoice, and then wait to pay from that.
The Fine Print:
We expect payment within 1 day of purchase. If you're waiting for other auctions to end so that you can combine shipping, shoot us a message to let us know.
If you're unable to pay within terms, please reach out with your Plan B. Things happen. Especially these days. So just shoot us a message.
We don't accept buyer-remorse returns but we will grant you the use of our description and photos so that you can re-ebay the item yourself.
Although we don't accept buyer-remorse returns, reach out if you're unhappy with your purchase! If we messed up -- everybody does -- give us a chance to fix it. We promise it was unintentional, and we'll do what we can to make it right.
