Description
This is a rare 1950's (?) Documentary Interview or "A Study" by Rolf Baderhausen "With Kind Assistance of the Department of Drama" - University of Cologne Nielsen CollectionThe movie as per stamped on the tin is 216m or approximately 700ft +/- feet long. (See picture of the tin for additional information)
The film appears to be in very good condition without any breaks in the film & no splicing.
There is no odour coming from the film and no vinegar syndrome.
The tin is a bit beat up with lots rust on it, but the movie content has not been affected.
This was in the possession of the German Embassy in Canada and ended up at auction, so now looking for a new home!
Regarding the content, it appears to be in English as per the cover of the tin, but not certain and there is footage from several of Gustaf Grundgens movies.
Some of the titles of the movies I could make out are:
- Faust
- The False Step (Der Schritt Vom Wege)
- A Woman of No importance (Eine Frau ohne Bedeutung)
- Capriolem
and more
Please take a look at the photos and keep in mind they area bit blurry at times, but that is the photographer, not the movie!
