Vintage, circa 1960s, Mid-Century Modern / Eames Era, hand-painted carved wood plaque titled “The SURGEON ,” depicting an 18th century surgeon/physician/doctor. METAL PLAQUE ON REVERSE READS: “PALLADIO MADE IN ITALY” ( see image).
COUNTRY of ORIGIN: Italy.
MATERIALS: Hand-painting on wood.
SIZE: 28”x7 1/2”.
CONDITION: Excellent condition, with some minor chips and marks — typical and appropriate for its age. Some staining along the top.
