    Up for auction is a weirdly wonderful home movie, or possibly what you would call a "clip juxtaposition reel" or experimental film. What this is, is a sequence of clips culled from various industrial films, that are intended to produce riffs or meanings through the Kuleshov Effect..
    .look it up if you don't know what I mean. Starts with a spinning newspaper announcing the Russian atomic bomb, then has various men talking, computers predicting the weather, people at an assembly line, etc. These kind of reels were very popular with the "it" crowd in the 1960s and early 1970s. Craig Baldwinesque! Please note: some shots on this reel are obviously red faded, and some splices may be in need of replacement.
