This Depression era slice of life is entitled "Makin' Tracks" by renowned artist Randy Souders. This print is personally hand autographed by the artist (NOT by an 'autopen' or other mechanical device).
The scene features a nostalgic
wooden country train depot. In days gone by, these places were famous for fond farewells, joyous reunions, as well as the common business activity of everyday life. Literally thousands of these quaint little structures once dotted the American landscape during the days of passenger train service. Alas, this one seems to be less than bustling these days. With little else to do, the local sheriff in his "Model-A" patrol car is keeping a watchful eye as a harmless old Hobo and his faithful companion move on down the line.
As with all his work, you'll want to look for the artists' trademark "kitty cat." This print will be the perfect addition to any traditional, nostalgia, or Americana collection!
