Theodore Xaras 1982 Framed And Matted Print "Eastbound 20th Century".
This is a limited edition print of the vintage train the 20th Century  by noted train artist, Theodore Xaras.
This particular print is entitled "Eastbound on the 20 Century". The print has been hand signed in pencil by the artist in the lower right corner, with the date, 1982, in pencil in the left lower corner. The print is double matted with a brown inner matt and a light beige outer matt surrounding the print; the frame is wood and has been stained a walnut brown.
The framed print measures 25.75"X21.25"; the print image measures 18"X12.25". The print is a limited edition collotype that was issued by The Franklin Gallery in the early 1980s.
The print itself is in excellent condition. The wooden frame is in good condition but does have some dings and scrapes in the wood edge in several places. The back has a wire in place, so the print is ready to be hung.
