  • Condition: This is a 16mm Original print of the Tom Conway detective mystery, The Falcon in Hollywood (1944). I would describe it as a good condition Original C & C Movietime print on Kodak / DuPont film stock with minor wear and a replaced C & C end title. I believe I detected a slight vinegar odor, however, the film played fine on my Bell & Howell projector. It is on two - 1600' reels and has a running time of approximately 66 minutes.

I would describe it as a good condition Original C & C Movietime print on Kodak / DuPont film stock with minor wear and a replaced C & C end title.     Tom Lawrence (Tom Conway), the amateur sleuth known as "the Falcon," hopes to enjoy a relaxing vacation in Los Angeles, but soon a dead body turns up on a film set. Aided by taxi / stunt driver Billie (Veda Ann Borg) and Inspector McBride (Emory Parnell), Tom seeks to determine the murderer in the case, which comes to involve gambling, jewelry and motion pictures. The suspects include the costume designer to whom the victim was married (Jean Brooks), a beautiful young actress (Barbara Hale), a tyrannical director (Konstantin Shayne), a New York gangster (Sheldon Leonard) and a Shakespeare-quoting producer (John Abbott).
