I guarantee a healthy colony which is mite free and not contaminated by other insects. I keep all colonies inside the house and do not clean skulls with the colonies. The colonies are only fed human grade raw meat and kept in temperature and humidity controlled environment.
What's included in our Dermetids Beetle Colonies: In each order you will receive a mix of adults, larvae, pupa, and eggs. I add more Dermestids then the quantity that is ordered to ensure you receive a lot of beetles. Each order is shipped in fras which contains many eggs and tiny larvae. The order will be packed carefully and if necessary in an insulated box and heat pack provided during cold weather. There will be a detailed Dermestid care sheet which covers the habitat care, feeding, cleaning of skulls, whitening of skulls, etc.. I am also available at any time for questions and love to share my Dermestid knowledge to make your colony successful. We will message you upon placing your order to assist you in setting up your habitat and having all of the supplies you need for their arrival. Beetle Guarantee: We guarantee our Dermestids will arrive healthy and alive. We will work with you should the Dermestids not arrive in a satisfactory condition as, we understand there are many circumstances which can occur during shipping. Just contact us should you find a problem with the beetles upon delivery.
Shipping: We ship out on Mondays USPS Priority mail and shipments usually arrive on Wednesday thru Friday. We will ship on a Tuesday when a holiday occurs on a Monday for the USPS. You will receive an email from us upon shipping the beetles and the tracking number is in eBay. If it is under 45 degrees or over 100 degrees we encourage you to contact your post office to have the beetles held for you to pick up. They are hardy beetles and have survived a trip from the West coast to the East coast and back to the West coast just fine. Do not allow the Dermestids to sit in the mail box on the day of delivery, be ready to get our alittle pets.
