    Description

Well preserved, clean copy of REVENGE OF THE CREATURE. Standard 8 mm format was for home use and belonged to my grandfather who was nuts about home movies and home film slide presentations.
The film looks to be in fine condition. Complete, I see the title hand written in clear leader of the opening frames. It is 5 inch reel edited from the theater release film by the same name. As I remember it's about 3 or 4 minutes long or thereabouts. I remember it too as a silent film. I don't see a magnetic or optical soundtrack on it.
Quite collectible for it's paperboard box container as well as a relic of home entertainment. The cover has a full color illustration showing a cowering crowd reeling at the horror of THE CREATURE standing over the helpless, overwhelmed, negligee clad heroine who lies fainted at his scaly feet. The film on the other hand is black and white.
The box is strong and solid, no splits. The lid fits over the bottom tightly. There is some kind of foreign substance like a dirty finger touch at the top of the head just below the R on front. There's a little bit more two inches down and a little to the left at about THE CREATURE'S belly button. Printing on the top lid surface has sun bleached just a tad. The sides and back are a tiny bit more vivid, hardly anyone will notice.
Please study the photos for more information and clues.
If you have a projector, you have to have this film to view. If you don't, you have to have the film for its terrific packaging. One detractor, on the back someone used the box for adding some figures. Total: 137.
    Thanks,
