    This is a VERY RARE 16mm I B TECHNICOLOR and CINEMASCOPE print of “SPIRIT OF THE RACE”, a 1956 FOX MOVIETONE CINEMASCOPE SHORT SUBJECT. This ten minute short was made on location in MEXICO CITY, and tells how the city created the UNIVERSITY OF MEXICO on ruins of land from volcanoes of centuries past. It has fascinating 1950’s footage, and the print is in nice shape, with BEAUTIFUL three-strip, dye-transfer I B TECHNICOLOR, great sound, and no vinegar. And it looks especially GREAT in CINEMASCOPE. This is the COMPLETE SHORT SUBJECT, mounted on one 400 ft. reel.
