You are bidding on a 9 Volt N Scale Train Tester. This is a new item .
No TRACK or TRANSFORMER needed!
I was surprised to realize that many model train collectors and sellers have no layout or a transformer to test their trains.  This device will do it for them. It is very easy to use and will not harm your train ( it is only 9 Volts).
Add YOUR 9 volt battery and simply touch a wheel on either side of the engine.
It is so easy my wife did it for the picture. ( 1st time she even touched one of my trains. ) In the picture you can see the light is on.
This rig works just as well with a steam engine as it does with a diesel. Has 6 inch leads.
You can also place your train on a piece or track and touch one probe to each rail to make the train move.
This fits in your pocket, unhook the battery and take it anyplace with you.
Take it to the train show or flea market and test that used locomotive you want to purchase right on the spot.
