These are original ads from 1949 magazines, not reproductions or copies.  In excellent, clean condition; measure approx 6-3/4 x 10.  The first picture is the lot of two, the others are the individual ads in the lot.  The red border is not part of the ads.  These would look great matted and framed, and would make a very unique gift for anyone who collects railroadiana.
The ads are titled, "Why Do People Wave at Trains?", and "Helping the World to 'GO' ".  Use the Zoom and Enlarge features to see detail.
My ads are:
from a smoke-free home
neatly trimmed along the stapled edge
dated in pencil, usually at the lower edge
shipped in plastic bag, cardboard layers, and waterproof outer packaging for safe arrival.
offered with a combined shipping discount if you make multiple purchases.
I have many other ads listed on ebay, including other railroad ads - check my listings.  These make very original gifts, and I can combine items to save you some of the additional shipping.  Additional single ads are only 50c each for extra shipping/handling, evern less for quantity purchases.
