Japan Tin Litho Battery Op. Toy FLASHY JIM R7 ROBOT

For your consideration is this battery operated Flashy Jim R7 Robot. Made in Japan. Excellent condition with minor age wear but no other damage. It is about 7 1/2 inches tall. When I tested it, I only got lights to turn on, but no action from robot. I might just need some encouragement to fully work by moving arms and legs manually and continually while turned on. This is the case with many battery operated toy after sitting for a long time without being played. This is the first time I see this robot with this style of remote control/battery operated compartment, so it might have been replaced, but I am not sure.
