Czechoslovakia Theresienstadt Concentration Camp 2 Krone Banknote 1943 CU This is a SCARCE HIGH GRADE Theresienstadt Concentration Camp Currency Banknote from Czechoslovakia. This Czechoslovakian Banknote was issued for 2 Kronen in 1943. It features a Vignette of Moses with the Ten Commandment Tablets on the reverse. This Currency Note is Catalogued in the Pick/Siemsen Book as #27 and grades in CRISP UNCIRCULATED Condition. Theresienstadt concentration camp (often referred to as Terezín) was a Nazi concentration camp during World War II. It was established by the Gestapo in the fortress and garrison city of Terezin (German name Theresienstadt), located in what is now the Czech Republic. On June 10, 1941, the Gestapo took control of Terezín and set up prison in theSmall Fortress (kleine Festung), see below.
