Description
B&O CHOO-CHOOS - Baltimore 1940sThese pictures were taken by me when I was about eight years old. The trains are on the B&O tracks heading west along 26th street as it emerges from the Huntington Avenue overpass in Baltimore.
A mile later they will enter Baltimore's Mount Royal station, and through the tunnel to the old Camden Station near the modern pall park. They also went over the Ma & Pa tracks on Falls Road and the Pency tracks near the tunnel to Washington.
Three blocks east on 26th street is where, a few years back, the entire street caved in covering the tracks below.
I've included a map showing the end of the Hunting Ave viaduct as it crosses over the Ma & Pa tracks from Hampden to Remington.
Three B&W prints on poster stock, approximately between 6x8 and 10x6 inches + map.
USPS Media shipping with tracking number to US destinations. - usually within 48 hours except weekends and postal holidays.
