    Description

Apollo 11 Lunar Module First Man On The Moon Color Frame Shifts Error MINT! #C76
This is a genuine United States postage stamp issued in 1969 to commemorate the Moon Landing and the First Man on the Moon, Scott # C76. The stamp is notable for several color frame shifts. Most noticeable are the upward shifting of the red and dark blue colors resulting in the American flag arm patch being located on the neck and a white crescent below the moon on the right. Also apparent are the upward shifts of the yellow and light blue colors as seen on the lunar module.  The normal stamp shown to the right of the error stamp for comparison purposes in the second scan is included. The stamps are in mint, never hinged, post office fresh condition. FREE clear plastic protective display holders included. Thanks for looking!
