There are very few artists that capture the majesty and the power of those old steam engines. These engines changed our world with their strength, and now many artists are beginning to pay homage to this heritage. Myself I have memories of watching the smoke and hearing the power of tons and tons of train flying by me.
I find it so hard to believe that water colored art could project the power that propeled the old railroad trains at the speed they did to carry that tonnage. Imagine 100 car length trains and you begin to understand the minds that were able to create these steam work horses.
The even deeper beauty of this piece is that it captures that power with the soft tones of water colors. I never knew this was possible, but here it is, right before my(and your) eyes.
The dimensions of this print are 26"w x 19.5"h and as I mentioned above, this print is near mint, but use your eyes to verify this fact. After all, "What you see is what you get!"
I will wrap this print extremely well, as I always do, and I will send it to you in a new mailing tubefor safe delivery to you.
