    Description

On the auction block is an ultra-rare excellent 16mm Print of THE ONE MAN JURY (1978) starring Jack Palance, Christopher Mitchum, Pamela Susan Shoop, Cara Williams, Joe Spinell, Jeff McCracken, Alexandra Hay, Angel Tompkins, Andy Romano, Tom Pedi, & Don 'Red' Barry
Academy Award winning actor Jack Palance stars as Jim Wade in this DIRTY HARRY-esque film, a worn-down-by-life Los Angeles police detective. Weary of watching criminals—and in particular a serial killer—get off on judicial technicalities, Wade takes matters into his own hands; even if that means executions. In this film, like in all of his films, Jack Palance is superb. This film plays like an old fashioned crime drama and is full of colorful locations, double-crosses, shootouts, and twists. The twist downbeat ending is a surprise choice. It’s great to see Chris Mitchum and Jack Palance team up as cops and Cara Williams starring in her last film role.
Who wouldn't want to see Jack Palance playing a Dirty Harry-like cop that kills criminal scum in cold blood?
This film is rare as hell in the 16mm film format and has never seen a DVD or BluRay release...so don’t delay—the auction clock is ticking!  Get your bids in soon.
    Details about the print:
Boy oh boy…it’s in excellent/like new condition. The color, like so many prints of this vintage, has warmed a bit; but through the warmness you can still see a lot of fairly strong hues. Some scenes look better than others and it really doesn’t look all that bad (see the pictures above to see what I mean). No Vinegar Smell. The film comes mounted on three 1600ft reels.
Pictures above are all from the actual film being offered taken while the print was running on a projector. Film is much sharper than pictures indicate. Some pictures might be more out of focus than others due to the camera used NOT the actual print.
Any questions at all feel free to ask and thanks for looking!
